Transmission needs to warm-up for 10 minutes. You must place in gear and put back into park during warm-up. Also; the vehicle after warming up can be cut-off; restarted, warmed up, put into park, then in gear and it moves out. Is another transmission needed or can it be repaired?

it can be repaired but it sounds like the seals are bad. they are hard when cold and soften up when warm
