The passenger seat handle that allows people to get into and out of the rear seat seams to be broken. My daughter was able to get out normally but when I went to put it back, it won't work. The mechanism seems disconnected. How do I access where it attaches in the seat?

I opened the rear of the seat. But it looks like I might need to remove the leather. I really hope not.
