2000 Mazda Protege cast aluminum block

I have a Mazda protege year 2000 1.6 liter engine and need to know if its possible to weld the cast aluminum block? A bracket broke and I still have a perfectly good engine aside from the bracket.

ya they can be tig welded but it probably has to be out of the car to do it depending on where it is . check with a weld shop
