Head replacement

Joe thanks, I'm trying to figure out how to install camshafts with sprocket inact. So I can get the timing belt on.

Is there a reason you want the sprockets installed prior to installing the camshafts? As far as the belt, take a look at the attachments below. They are the directions for the removal and replacement of the timing belt. Does that help?

I want to torque the camshaft bearings and then do the timing belt. Took a look. Tell me what you think.

I'm just trying figure out TDC for the cans. But when I tried to put the exhaust side it doesn't sit straight up.

I'm not sure why you feel they don't look right. Presently, they are not in the correct position. You simply need to place them in the position indicated in the directions while the crankshaft is at TDC. Is that what you mean? I can't see the actual marks in the pic, but they should visible on the pulleys.

Okay, how about the position of the cam lobes on cylinder 1 and 3, is that on what side I and E?

I'm not 100% sure exactly what you need, but I can tell you that if the crank is at TDC, the cam lobes for both intake and exhaust (cyl 1) will be the furthest away from being open. The timing belt pulleys can only go on one way. If the marks are in the correct location, you should be okay.

Please let me know if that helps. It's difficult when I'm not in front of it to know exactly what you are referring to.
