My brake lights stopped working, but the top brake light is working. Went to an auto store
aND tested the fuse and it was not the case, so we bought bulbs, but still didn't work.
I am not sure what's wrong. My signal tail lights are working. Just the tail brake lights aren't.
I thought it might be the brake switch, but why is the top brake light still working and the tail brake lights
are not?

I JUST LOOKED OVER THE WIRING DIAGRAM FOR YOUR RIG

STARTS OUT AT FUSE 20

THIS ONE WIRE TRAVELS TO THE BRAKE PEDAL SWITCH

THEN ONE WIRE COMES FROM THE BRAKE PEDAL SWITCH

IT SPLITS TO "LEFT" AND "RIGHT" BEHIND THE DASH

THE "LEFT" BRAKE LIGHT AND HIGH MOUNT SHARE THE SAME WIRE FROM THE BEHIND THE DASH "SPLIT" ALL THE WAY BACK TO ANOTHER SPLIT IN THE LEFT KICK PANEL, WHERE THEY GO THEIR SEPARATE WAYS (TO THE LEFT BRAKE LIGHT AND THE HIGH MOUNT LOCATIONS)

JUST AFTER THE BEHIND THE DASH SPLIT, THE RIGHT SIDE WIRE HAS ANOTHER SPLIT THAT GOES TO "ENGINE CONTROLS SYSTEM" (NO LOCATIONS LISTED FOR THAT) (I DID NOT FIND ANY INFO ON IT EITHER)(NOT SAYING THERE AIN'T ANY-I JUST CAN'T FIND ANY)

THEN THE RIGHT BRAKE LIGHT WIRE CONTINUES ON AND TERMINATES AT THE RIGHT BRAKE LIGHT SOCKET

FROM WHAT I CAN SEE, IF THE HIGH MOUNT IS FUNCTIONING CORRECTLY AND FULL BRIGHTNESS,

EITHER THERE IS A PROBLEM IN THE SOCKETS (MAYBE MELTED AND HARD TO SEE?)

IT ALSO APPEARS THAT THIS USES MINI BULBS? SO I DON'T SEE HOW YOU COULD INSTALL 'EM WRONG

OR

THE GROUNDS FOR THE LEFT AND RIGHT BRAKE LIGHT MIGHT BE THE ISSUE

THEY ARE LOCATED IN/ AT THE FRONT RIGHT AND FRONT LEFT QUARTER PANEL, MAYBE LOOSENING THEM/ CLEANING/ OR JUST "SCOOCHING" THE GROUNDS AROUND THEN RE-TIGHTENING THEM MIGHT DO IT!

MAYBE I CAN GET YOU MORE INFO IF YOU NEED IT

RETURN WITH GOOD NEWS AND A GRIN!
