My key is stuck in the ACC position and won't lock so I can take key out. IVE tried disconnecting the battery overnight hoping something will cause it to release to no avail. Is there any other way to get key out without having to change lock cylinder. It has a factory security system. If that can change anything

TRY TILTING THE COLUMN, EVEN REPETITIVELY WHILE ATTEMPTING THE KEY.

WORKED ON SEVERAL VEHICLES FOR ME,

MIGHT ALSO TRY TURNING IT TO ON AND GOING THRU THE GEARS, THEN ATTEMPT REMOVAL.

THAT WAS MY LAST DITCH EFFORT, THOUGHT I'D SLING SOMETHING OUT THERE TO YA!

I've located a brass lever on top side inside steering column that keeps sticking, preventing the key from releasing.. pull brass piece that's attached to cable slightly towards you until it clicks...(about quarter inch) turn key to lock position and remove key. Warning.....key will get stuck again so you might want to keep access to top of steering column, or fix sticking issue.
