The car is an auto gearbox. When the car is been switched off and stays for more than an hour without been started you will have to wait for about 30 minutes just idling it before you can drive off. It doesnt move forward but reverse is fine.

Could be a valve body or something else internal but it will have to be checked out by a competent transmission specialist.
