my mazda 323f seems to ride rough and make a lot of noise going over bumps , could this be the subframe bushes need replacing and how would i do it

It could be bushes or worn/dry joints.

For such problem, you need locate the source and verify components are faulty before proceeding with replacements/repairs.

You need a visual inspection to locate the source of which we are not able to assist.
