A lot of import radios have a fuse in the back of the radio. It's fairly common for them to blow just from the surge when replacing the battery or jump-starting the engine. Also be sure you checked all the fuses. Two are used for the radio for the 12 volt switched circuit to turn it on and for the station presets and clock memory circuit. That memory fuse is tied in with something else that is always live such as interior lights or the horn circuit.
