my car wont accelerate passed 30 mph. what can be the problem?

once i reach 30 mph the car will not accelerate. i hear a humming like its trying however once it make it to 30 mph i have to either slow down to 10 mph or a full stop before i can accelerate again.

Any codes?I would have a back pressure test done to the exhaust.
