I checked the oil often and I use Amilso 5-30 The car runs great found it from an Old man who took very good care of it and it is burning quiet a bit of oil. When I bought 4yrs ago this this looked like it just came off the show room floor. Never have any problems with what so ever. But during this road trip to florida I noticed she was burning quiet a bit of oil. I had to put a quart in it every 500 miles. No leaks no smoking. Think there are some reasons she's burning oil like this?

Thanks for your time,
Mark Gentry

That is excessive. That amount has to be going somewhere. If there is no smoke, no leaks that you see, check the cooling system to make sure it isn't mixing with coolant. Let me know what you find.
