Coolant temperature sensor location?

Coolant temperature sensor location that is all I need to know. Where I can find it to put a new one in and so I can salve my over heating problem. that is the only problem I am having.

What size engine? 3.0L or 3.9L?

I do not think it has a coolant temperature sensor but rather a cylinder head temperature sensor. Ford did that on several of their vehicles. Diagrams for both engines are below.

Check the cylinder head temperature sensor.
