2000 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL.......LOW FUEL PSI. REPLACED FUEL PUMP DID NOT FIX PROBLEM

What is fuel pressure? Specs. KOEO 35-55 psi

This is a computer controlled, variable pressure system. It has a pressure sensor and a fuel pump control module along with the Powertrain Control module that all play a part in it. You need a professional scan tool to be able to diagnose that system.

so just putting a gauge at rail is useless cause i am getting koeo within specs......running its at 30. driveing i am haveing no issues. just at start up. and have replaced filter too.

You can check for rest pressure holding with the gauge.

have an extended crank takes 2-3 time to get started.

Monitor the pressure while cranking.

what am i lookin out for. because it drops down to the 30 psi range when doing that.

You really need a scan tool to test that system. You can command it higher and lower and you the gauge to see if it responds properly.
