Cold the front pipe cause a poor idle-I have already replaced the idle control valve,and all the other common causes, any help would help and is very much appreciated.

Unless it is badly clogged or leaking badly, it should not.

Did you clean the throttle body?

Do you have overheating issues?
Have you checked the engine compression?

it is busted open so I would imagine it is leaking pretty bad-also no I do not have an overheating issue and the mechanic checked my compression 3 mths ago when I purchased and he said it was suprising ly good for a 2000 car

If the exhaust is busted open, it would affect the idling.
