Oil pressure guage maxes out at 80 psi on start up let it warm an it drop as soon it takes off back to 80 when i slow pressure drops is it bad for it to run on 80 for along period of time

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge if its okay-replace the oil pressure sending unit not okay-oil pump pressure relief valve is sticking-
