2000 Jeep Wrangler air bag light in the dash

The air bag light wants to keep coming on and off also beeps when its comes on. It doent matter whether I have the passenger bag turned on or off. What might be the problem?

Run a scan and this will give you a fault code for this problem, you will need this code to identify the faulty component, start here.
