Car Make/Model:
2000
Jeep Grand Cherokee
Limited
4.7L V8

Fault codes car is giving out:
10
11
14
p0132
p0138
p1492
p0133

Problem 1:
Jeep Idles Rough at stop. The car seems to idle around 600 RPM's but starts shaking and the RPM's drop to almost 0. Sometimes it dies there but most of the time, it ALMOST kills, but then Revs way up to around 1500 RPM's, then goes back to around 600. Problem seems to occur when car is warm but I'm not sure.

Problem 2:
Jeep has hard time accelerating. It has a hard time taking gas at 10 MPH off and on all the way up to around 25-30 MPH. Also seems to occur when car is warm but again, I'm not sure.

Important Info:

My Catalytic Converter was stolen off the vehicle. I replaced with a $100 after market converter with an O2 sensor. Car seemed to run fine before it was stolen. Also, a mechanic believes the converter that I bought is too small for a big engine (4.7L) like mine. He believes it restricts the airflow and throws off the O2 sensors. I took it to a Muffler shop and had the airflow tested, they said it was fine so I'm not sure what the problem is.

Thanks in advance!

po132 is o2 sensor circuit high voltage bank 1 sensor 1 . po133 o2 sensor circuit slow response. po138 is o2 sensor voltage high bank 1 sensor 2 . po1492 ambient/temperature voltage too high Codes 11 is a hall effect sensor failure (ignition reference sensor) this will occur because you vehicle stalled out. must have logic circuit erased in order see if it is properly working. The BIG ONE here is the code 14. thats a MAP (manifold absolute pressure sensor) failure. this stored code will put the system in limp mode, meaning it will limit engine rpms because it has to use the throttle position sensor and the ignition reference sensor to guess what is going on. FIRST Have the map sensor , wiring and plug checked and replace if bad. Second have the codes cleared, drive the vehicle for a day, then check for the o2 sensor codes again. if they come back...replace the sensors. let me know.

Alright, I appreciate all the help but I don't know where the MAP sensor is. I have the repair manual but I still can't locate it. The picture is a diagram of where the MAP sensor is located according to the repair manual.

Ok I found the MAP sensor. But putting that aside, I reset my codes and had them read again. Here's what codes are being read now:

p0132
p0138
p1492

Since the MAP sensor code is gone the problem is probobly just the o2 sensor. Am I right?

more than likely. sorry about the lapse in time, been out of circulation. The upstream O2 sensor (the one you haven't replaced)will be your best starting point, as mis-information from this sensor can start the dommino effect in the ecm. Have this replaced, clear the codes & let me know.
