my door panel is not working why would that be

A door panel is nothing but a piece of trim. What exactly is not working for you?

well what i meant by door panel is the windows, lock, and mirrors. sometimes it works which is rare. and the inner lights stay on even while driving.

That would have to be troubleshooted using a wiring diagram to determine the cause. It could be the master switch or even the wiring where it comes into the door at the jam because the constant movement of the door can damage the wires.
