my jeep is having a over heating problem we have changed the heater core and the thermastat and it is still over heating

Did you replace those parts in a misguided attempt at solving the overheating problem or did the overheating start after those parts were replaced? Have you checked the electric fan or belt-driven fan clutch, depending on which engine you have? You didn't say. Does the upper radiator hose get too hot to hold onto for very long or does it stay cool? Is the air from the heater real hot or cool? If running the heater on "high" brings the temperature down, check the radiator for a butterfly collection blocking air flow, check the cooling fins to see if they're crumbling from corrosion, or if there are hot and cold spots across it indicating some of the tubes are plugged.
