engine coolant light

my coolant light is on in my jeep, DOES NOT overheat. Its full
but...my battery is bad, could this be causing the condition?

A bad battery can cause some problems however I think you may have a bad fluid level sensor. There is a sensor in the plastic tank that tells the information center if it is low on coolant or not.
