I have an isuzu rodeo and i started it i. The morning and ran it without letting it warm up. The check engine light came on and as i accelerated anything over 1900 rpms caused the service engine soon lihht to blink but if i dropped below it would stop. The car does not always do this but only on days i run it cold. It runs fine but i havent been pushing it either. Before it acts up it does seem to drag a little slower and if i press the gas the rpms dont move and neither does my speed but it stops doing that after a couple seconds.

The light is flashing because you have a severe misfire capable of damaging the Catalytic Converter.

Have the codes read and they will point you to which cylinders are having the problem and then you will have to determine the cause.
