Getting a "Service Engine Soon" light. Advanced Auto read a "P1140" code. What am I up against?

P1140 - Intake Valve Timing Control Position Sensor.
Most likely the Valve Timing solenoid is not functioning correctly causing the code to be triggerred. If engine is heavily sludged, remove the solenoid valve and clean it and its passages and retest.
