I have a 2000 infinity g20 and a a queaking sound starts when the compressor kicks in. On initial start up of the day it is ok but once warm up the sound start. I replaced the belt and tried tightening the belt. The AC functions perfectly.

Maybe a noisy clutch bearing on the comp, a dry compressor seal, i would not be to worried if it does it only once on start up.

It is ok on start up, no noise. Once car has warmed up then the squeaking starts only when compressor kicks in. When rpm is above 800 there is no sound at all. AC blows cold air.

would be considering a fault in the compressor, this is a bit hard with out actually hearing the noise.
