my car runs hot when i come to a stop as at a red light but the gauge lowers to normal when the car is in motion.i have checked all my fluid levels and they are ok.what could be the problem

The auxiliary fan may not be working, to test this, start the car and turn on the A/C
The fan in front of the radiator should be coming on, let me know.
