my brake lights won't switch off, I have an Hyundai Excel 2000 model

I pulled up yesterday afternoon at a friends place and the brake lights were on, I've found the only way I can turn them off is to disconnect the fuse. I need the car for work so I'm currently driving without rear brake lights...help

Check the brake switch follow the brake pedal arm it will take you to the switch
