transmission filter location on 2000 hyundai elantra

when engine warms up the transmission starts sliping. before i make a decision like buy another transmission i wanted to see if it could be something i could fix myself any suggestion would be helpful. ty

Check the fluid level. Check the fluid condition. You want it red, with no brown tint. You don't want it to smell burned. If either, have it flushed.
Filter is internal. Under the transmission pan.
