shakes at red lights

hyundai elantra 2000 shakes at red lights and when turned on and park have to floor gas pedal just to get to 20-25 mph and idle jumps above one when in park shakes no power really sometimes when it shakes the lights dim

did you replace the timing belt? I just worked on one of those, the timing was one tooth off which made it run pooly, and there is a belt for a counter balancer which was completely chewed up. I would say you need a complete tune up and belt replacement if you havent done in a while. I would guess that the valve cover gasket is leaking too. I know those cars pretty well.
