2000 hyundai elantra parking lights problem

I had a similar problem, but it was only my brake lights. Follow your brake pedal up until you get to the switch that turns on the brake lights, you'll know it when you see it. You should see a round plastic bumper that engages the switch when the brake is released. If there is just metal or if the switch goes into an empty hole, then that may be your problem. I used a trim attachment plastic piece from a $2.00 box I got at a parts store. There's also a plastic piece that you can steal from the clutch pedal if you have one.
