2000 Hyundai Elantra Car Starting Other Day Stopped Everything Works Turn Key

My car was starting and the the other day it stopped starting everything in the car works and when i turn the key in the car i hear clicking but the car isnt starting , i looked up under the hood and noticed that there was some chewed wire under where the battery sits, i dont know what that wiring is or what its called so i can fix it myself or see if i need assistance.

Arent those the wires going to the ac compressor?Do you have a multi meter to do some testing?
