I am trying to locate where my crank shaft sensor is in my 2000 honda odyssey I had in on a computer and it read it was the ckp crank shaft sensor. Tried looking up a diagram online but with no luck and need to try and get it done on my own ratehr than pay 500 to a shop.

on the crank in the front behind the timing belt. thats why it is the money it is. you should replace the timing belt as well since you are there.

Unplug the CKP connector and check for contaminations. Clean it and retest. Tends to fail when water gets to the connector due to its location.
