A Clicking/ticking noise

Hi I have a 2000 Honda CRV. When i first turn it on I can hear a ticking/clicking noise and the when i accelerate i can hear it again. its getting louder and louder what could it be?

If it is coming from the engine area, make sure the oil is clean and full and make sure you have proper fuel pressure.

Opps, Sorry forgot to say .. yes its coming engine area.
i just checked the transmission oil and it was pretty low .. could it be that ? and when i come to a complete stop it kinda jolts ...

Try the trans first, but also make sure the engine oil is clean and full. You may be hearing a collapsed lifter due to low oil pressure.
