what is the write name for this part i need? it is a wire harness for the main CPU,and one plug goes to the mass airflow sen.

I believe you are referring to the engine main wireharness.

If MAF sensor plug is bad, you can replace it. Just ask dealer or parts store for MAF "pigtail".

thank you i was wondering the shop where my car is at said it would cost 700.00 for the hole wireharness, then he said he could splice the plug that was bad and it would be cheeper does this sound about right? the price

The price is about so but you don't need the complete harness so it should be very much cheaper.
