2years ago replaced the compressor, clutch, & pressure switch. For last 6months the clutch has been turning on & off at random. Recently, the clutch started clicking loudly trying to engage & car idle rough.
Re frig is correct. Unplugged the pressure switch & plugged back in & air worked for 30minues & now is clicking again.
Heard on a forum that this was a common problem, Can you direct me.

ANY HEAT SETTING THAT USES "DEFROST" MAKES YOUR COMPRESSOR TURN !

......REASON........THIS LETS THE EVAPORATOR TAKE MOISTURE OUT OF THE AIR, PRIOR TO IT BLOWING ON THE WINDSHIELD........THIS MAY BE WHY IT "CYCLED" MYSTERIOUSLY DURING THE WINTER

MY BEST-US GUESS NOW THAT IT'S HOT OUT..........YOU MAY BE LOW ON FREON

NOT KNOWING THE "FULL DEAL", IT MAY BE POSSIBLE THAT SOMETHING ELSE COULD BE WRONG....ie....YOUR A/C's OIL HAS BEEN OVERFILLED.....YOU AREN'T INSTALLING THE GAS CORRECTLY (I'VE SEEN PEOPLE WING IT WITHOUT USING ANY KINDA GAUGE AT ALL)......SOMETHING COULD BE WRONG MECHANICALLY, OR A PROBLEM IN THE HOSES
