can a Crank shaft sensor stop a engine from running while driving? I changed the ignition wiring, the distributor, and fuel relay already!

Have the main relay and ignition switch checked-start here. A problem with the CPS will prevent the engine from starting

I changed the main relay, and the ignition switch cable(wiring) and it still shuts off...(now won't even start) checked the fuel pump, changed the distibutor, not sure what else to do, so thought maybe the Crank shaft sensor...Thanks for responding though. Steve

Now won't even start-check the fuel pressure if its within specs and if injectors are pulsing-and also for a snapping blue spark from the ignition system.

we checked the fuel pressure, seems to be good, pump also good.will check the spark...thanks Do you think the Crank shaft sensor could cause the engine to shut down while driving(then start up after apears to cool) then shut off again??? Thanks

If the CPS is defective -you won't get a spark, therefore no start
