steering pump

2000 HONDA ACCORD

i change the the steering pump ona 2000 v6 accord. because the old pump bearing went bad and bleed out the pump and use honda oil and still have no power steering>>>did help? plus can driving the car witha bad pump ruin the racks?

How did you bleed out the pump? Don't worry about damage to the rack. How is the fluid level?

Recheck the pump, you could have a bad one if it is a rebuilt or used one.

it started working the next morning and works great now thanks for the answers.

sometimes it takes awhile for air to work it's way out of the oil. usually 24hrs or so.
