My clutch seems slow to disengage in first gear.
I had to help the pedal up a little bit this afternoon. Its only in 1st gear & there is no noise associated with it and it just started a few days ago. Otherwise I am not seeing any trouble with it. I did have the clutch disk replaced in March 2010.
What could the problem be & how expensive a repair am I looking at?
Many thanks

If you're starting to see more free play in the clutch pedal, then you likely have a leak in the hydraulic clutch system and lost all the fluid. You will have to find out whether it's the master cylinder or slave cylinder that's leaking and replace it, then bleed out the system.

No, nothing compared to the clutch itself.
