I have a 2000 GMC Yukon. While driving this morning, I noticed cool air coming out when I had the heater on. Then my coolant gauge was near the redzone. When I stopped, I see water leaking from beneath the engine. What are the likely problem(s)?

You have a coolant leak that has to be located, most easily through a pressure test. The low coolant is what caused the overheating and heater problems. Don't drive it that way.
