signal flashes fast

2000 gmc sonoma driver side signal flashes fast as if there is a bulb out . the front flashes fast but the rear is not flashing at all. Could it be the flasher under dash?

If the rear isn't flashing at all, then it needs replaced or there is a bad connection to it. Remove the bulb, check it, and replace if needed. If the bulb is good (check for continunity), check to see if there is power to the light socket.
