2000 GMC Sierra vapor locking?

TRUCK RUNS great, once I have drove around town and stop at traffic signal it dies out!Truck starts right up but when I go to give gas dies again. Feels like it vapor locks or ran out of gas. She starts up immediately after she dies every time, then runs fine till have to stop or slow down again. Help

It seems like there might be an issue with the idle air control valve, also an OBDII vehicle might have some P codes that would aid in the diagnosis. Scan the truck with a scan tool and see if there are stored faults
