2000 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4. I put the truck into 4 low and it went in fine. As I got out of the snow I tried to shift it into 4 hi and it would not go while I was still rolling so I stopped and put the truck in neutral. It tried to change and made a loud cranking noise. Then my "service 4 wheel drive" light came on and put everything in neutral. No 4 wheel drive, no 2 wheel drive. Any thoughts on what the problem could be?
