2000 gmc Sierra, a/c heater control switch

2000 gmc Sierra, a/c heater control switch only works on numbers 4 &5 , a/c works fine but heater is barely working. Truck temps read perfect and we already tried changing the actual switches in the truck only to have it do the same thing. Any suggestions?

the blower resistor has failed it is under the right side of the dash by the glove box. i would replace the connector as well.
