Intake manifold runner control

These are IMRC questions. From visual inspection I noticed the connector rods were unconnected. The back one was missing. (1) How is the IMRC actuator attached ( for removal purpose )? (2) Can the rods be reconnected ( via original or alternative method )? Reclaimed parts will be considered. There are no noticeable effects in normal driving. CEL illuminates, instead of oxygen sensor issues, maybe IMRC is the culprit. THANKS

I would say the IMRC would for sure set a code if it's not connected. The rod snaps into a plastic clip that may or may not be re-used. They are very inexpensive from Ford. Even the rod isn't much. I just bought one for under $20
