I just got my ford taurus 2000, 3 months ago. As I was driving on the interstate my car begins to make a motorcycle noise from the engine. So I begin to see smoke. Im not sure what is wrong with my vehicle, but I need to know

So what is the present condition of car? Are you driving it? Have you checked all your fluid levels like coolant and oil? Is CEL on?

My car is at the shop as we speak, they stated its my engine. Now I just got the car three months ago. I am not under warranty, but my engine shouldnt have went out that quick right.

When they say it's your engine, what do they mean? It overheated? It ran out of oil? It's no good? Did you drive it to the shop? Have you ever had it serviced since you bought it? Or had it in for a check up?
