I have a 2000 Ford Ranger with a 3.0 L engine and it has spun a bearing and damage the crankshaft and the piston rod my question is is the crankshaft and piston rod the same on a 3.0 L engine that is flex fuel? Because I can get a crank and piston rod from a 3.0 L flex fuel engine

I don't see why it would be different. Typically its just the fuel delivery system that is different. To be sure you be able to call a ford parts department to clarify the part # is the same.

This repair is far more complicated than just swapping some used parts. All these parts have to be measured and fitted together by a machine shop. This engine really isn't worth trying to repair. You would be way ahead of the game to simply install a good used engine.
