2000 Ford Ranger 3 0 Flex Fuel Motor Sets Over Night Start Morning Lifters

I have a 3.0 flex fuel motor and when it sets over night i start it up in the morning the lifters rattle bad for about 30 seconds. I've tried syn oil but it didnt change anything.

check that your oil filter has a non drain back oil valve fitted, if the lifter continues to be noisy it will have to be replaced, and you should do them all as a set.
