Ok I want to buy a 2000 mustang convertible with 130000 miles on it for 5000. The car has a v8 engine. It looks like its in excellent shape. Is this a good buy?

Spend a few $$ and get a good mechanic to give the car a full inspection and report, if the owner has nothing to hide they should not have a problem with this, better to spend a bit now to find out that it is not going to be a lemon.
