2000 ford mustang 3.8 l v 6 shakes when accelerating and decelerating

i was told it may be the egr valve so i replaced it no improvement then they said it could be the idle air or the max air sensor but it doesnt seem to fit the symptoms for either of those do you have an answer that makes more sense????

service engine soon light has not come back on since reset after i installed egr

If it shakes when you slow down... have you checked u-joints? It may not have anything to do with the engine.

it does the same when not in gear or driving ive checked all mounts on engine and trans as well as u joints ???
