just replaced rear brakes shoes, drums hardware, the reason was because i was getting a grinding noise. I thought this would take care of it, the brake cable is working fine. i am still gettingthe noise and now its smoking and smelled like burnt rubber

shoes are too tight. re adjust the rear shoes.
