Car electrical problem diagnostics computer has come up with a code bad earth

Car cranks not firing no attempt to fire
before car broke down jerking all over the road like fuel starvation or blocked pipe.
fuel pump has been tested and fuel filter replaced. Fuel pumping good
car has been put on some diagnostics computer, saying about a bad earth somewhere but cant anything.
e are going to try a crankshaft sensor, but the tester never mentioned a code for this.
but it mentioned a battery temperature sensor, where would it be on this car the reg is X698CCU. DIESEL MODEL. HOPE YOU CAN HELP. Many thanks

There is no code for a bad ground. A code number never identifies a bad part, just a failed system.

We need the codes numbers to see if it has relivence to your issue.

Fuel pressure is critical and may also be a failed injector pump.

Hi thanks for replying I dont know the code numbers this is what the mechanic has told me all he said was this battery temperature sensor

Temp sensor has no efect on your issue.

You need a new shop with someone who can give you the real reason for your issue.
