2000 f350 diesel has blow by what else could be wrong beside worn rings.

I took the oil cap off flip it up side down and the blow by blows the cap off it will not stay on the fuller tube

Your going to have to perform a compression test to see if its rings. Or headgasket issue. Is it running rough?
